A Mill Creek police pursuit on Saturday night, July 15th, led to a fatality on Village Green Drive. The pursuit began just prior to 11:00 pm when a Mill Creek police officer observed a vehicle exceeding the speed limit.
On Friday, July 14th, the City of Mill Creek and Snohomish County Fire District 7 reached a tentative agreement for a new six-year fire services contract (2017-2022). The tentative agreement encompasses the material economic terms of the new fire services agreement.
At their July 5, 2017, meeting, the Snohomish County Council approved a new plan that consolidates the county’s surface water utility into one surface water management district in order to cut costs and improve services.

Two suspects are in custody after they rammed the patrol car of the deputy attempting to contact them, which led to a pursuit ending at the intersection of 121st Street SE and 19th Ave SE on Wednesday morning, July 12th.
