Everett Public Schools to hold community open houses regarding capital bond on April ballot

Everett Public Schools will hold a number of informational community open houses to convey information regarding the $317.4 million capital bond on the April 28, 2020, ballot. The bond will fund school upgrades spread evenly throughout the district at all grade levels.

Everett Public Schools will hold a number of informational community open houses to convey information regarding the $317.4 million capital bond on the April 28, 2020, ballot.

This measure will provide crucial funding to build permanent classroom space to accommodate growth, improve safety and security, further develop career pathways, and make necessary school improvements.

Please plan on attending one of the following community events to learn more about what is on the bond and to ask any questions you may have:

  • February 6, 2020 - Cascade High School, cafeteria, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.
  • February 13th - Everett High School, cafeteria, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.
  • February 20th - North Middle School, cafeteria (Spanish), from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.
  • February 25th - Jackson High School, cafeteria, from 6:00 to 7:00 pm.

As a district, we work hard to ensure our parents and community members are informed about bond measures. The events are open to the public.

In addition to providing information at the in-person meetings with community members, we have information and videos posted on our district website at www.everettsd.org/bond2020 and related information on our social media pages.
