We hope you had a chance to stop by our Mill Creek Women's Club booth at the Mill Creek Festival on July 19-20!

If you have recently moved to the Greater Mill Creek area or have been here for a while and share our philosophy and mission of “Women Committed to Enhancing Our Community Through Friendship and Philanthropy,” then we would love to meet you at our annual Newcomer’s Coffee in September.

Please call Membership Chair, Sue Ramsey, at 425-385-2016 for more information or take a look at our website:

Monthly General Membership Meetings/Luncheons are held at the beautiful Mill Creek Country Club September through May and require a reservation.

There is a $28 charge for MCWC members or $30 for guests.  Annual $35 dues are collected at the time of new membership or renewal.

We are 168, and counting, fascinating, friendly women just like you!  Please consider joining us!

Here’s what people have been talking about!  Our own Snohomish County Executive, John Lovick, took time from his extraordinarily busy schedule this spring to speak to us regarding home safety.  His best advice:

  1. Don’t give any personal information over the phone.
  2. Don’t answer the phone if you don’t recognize the caller’s number.
  3. Don’t leave your garage door opener in your car.
  4. Don’t open the door to people you don’t know.
  5. Know your neighbors.

His personal reflection of “Oso Moments” was heartfelt and overwhelming, he said he had never before witnessed “such tremendous outpouring of love and hope and caring” following the unimaginable destruction of the Oso Landslide.

Even though Women’s Club is officially on Summer Break, the Thanks for Giving Auction Committee is hard at work collecting fabulous merchandise, services, tickets, gift cards and more all summer long!

Our biggest fundraising event of the year will be held on Wednesday, November 19 at the gorgeous Mill Creek Country Club.

You don’t have to be a member to help!  Major sponsors will be acknowledged in the MCWC Newsletter.  Greater financial sponsors will appear on a large banner displayed at MCWC events.

Please be generous in your support!  One hundred percent of the monies raised goes directly to the YWCA Pathways for Women program.

Last year’s auction raised $31,780 which was contributed to the YWCA Pathways Children’s Domestic Violence program.

One in every four women will experience domestic violence, which often leads to family homelessness.

What can we do?  We can help break the cycle by helping fund the counseling of children from abusive circumstances.

We are continuing our focus to this urgent need again at this year’s auction.  Your amazing donations are appreciated!

You may call Ways and Means Chair, Victoria Wellman, at 425-241-1641 for more information.

And now, a sneak peek at fall!

Local writer, Daniel James Brown, author of the wildly popular best-seller, “The Boys in the Boat,” will be the thrilling guest speaker at the MCWC’s September 17 General Membership Meeting/Luncheon!

What a fun opportunity to join a community of inspiring women just like you!
