From an Everett Public Schools news release.

Each spring the Everett Public Schools Foundation hosts early evening family receptions to honor and highlight our talented students. Artwork is judged, and awards are presented to students.

At the high school event the Superintendent's Art Purchase award is announced. The student's artwork is purchased by the Foundation and prepared for permanent display in the Everett Public Schools Community Resource Center.

Here in 2018, Cascade High School student Andrew Culver was the winner with his art titled “Kenny.”

Culver received $200 for his artwork and the foundation will frame the piece and present to the school district for permanent display at the Community Resource Center.
