Everett School Board changes meeting times to allow for more community involvement

The Everett Public Schools' Board meetings will be starting 30 minutes later this year in hopes of allowing more community involvement and engagement in the meetings. The 5:00 pm start times will begin at the next board meeting, on September 22, 2020.

At the September 8, 2020, board meeting the Everett Public Schools' Board of Directors approved the 2020-21 board meeting schedule and made an important change in the meeting times to allow for more community involvement.

Traditionally starting at 4:30 pm, the meetings will now be starting 30 minutes later in hopes of allowing more community involvement and engagement in the meetings.

The 5:00 pm start times will begin at the next board meeting, on Tuesday, September 22, 2020.

The meetings are still being held via Zoom at this time, and the links are posted on the school district calendar before every meeting.

Currently public comment is being taken by emails sent in to schoolboard@everettsd.org.
