With input from our friends at FurKidz 911, each week we will be featuring a dog that needs a loving home.

Chubbie is a 15 week old Chihuahua mix boy that weighs 8-9 lbs. He was transferred to Seattle with his siblings from a high-kill shelter in California and just arrived in our rescue.

Chubbie is a very social little guy to both other dogs and humans. He loves to be held and will very quickly jump on your lap once you sit down. He loves being around other dogs and enjoys playing with them.

He is peepad trained right now and is working on becoming trained to go outside. Chubbie enjoys playing outdoors and is cat curious and familiar. A happy yet rambunctious little guy that would be good for a one dog family or he would be a good second dog for a family that is looking for one.

Chubbie's adoption fee is $300. He is neutered, fully vaccinated including rabies, flea medicated, dewormed, and microchipped.

Chubbie is available for a Meet & Greet after an approved and verified adoption application. This is the first step in our adoption process. This helps us to determine the right match for our rescue dogs and your lifestyle and home environment. Our Meet & Greet/Adoption Application is available at:

FurKidz 911 is a non-profit 501(c)3 animal rescue organization based in the greater Seattle area in Washington. We do not have a shelter facility. Our organization is foster-based and we have a team of fosters throughout Western Washington.

FurKidz 911 is dedicated to the rehabilitation of dogs so they may find their forever home. We have met the most wonderful animals coming through our organization - all they needed was a second chance.

We are an all-volunteer group with regular full-time jobs. Our rescue work is done on our own time, mainly in the evenings. Email is the best form of communication and we ask for your patience due to our regular work priorities.

Our email is info@furkidz911.org. Thank you.
