Gold Creek Community Church (4326 148th St SE, Mill Creek, WA 98012) is opening its doors to all of its neighbors on Saturday, August 5, 2017, for a Free Community Health Day, sponsored by Hope Creek Charitable Foundation (HCCF). Health services will be available from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Many services will be available to community members including:
- Health screenings, including blood sugar checks, blood pressure screenings, and more from Puget Sound Christian Clinic.
- Mammograms conducted by Evergreen Hospital’s Mobile Mammogram Unit.
- On-site blood drive with Bloodworks Northwest.
Registering for the national donor network (through DKMS.org) to help people fighting blood cancers.
“We want to help provide much-needed services to our community members who may not have access to basic healthcare,” said Cheryl Scheffer, HCCF’s Executive Director.
“At the same time, we can also provide an opportunity to give the gift of health through blood donation and blood donor registry sign-ups.”
