Mill Creek Garden Tour & Artisan Market 2019
Life happens and due to unforeseen circumstances, the lovely #3 “Made in the Shade” Garden in the Brighton Division will be closed on Tour Day. Mill Creek Garden Club wishes these homeowners well in their new location.
On deck to open “A TEAM EFFORT” GARDEN is a Garden Club member and her husband who reside in The Parks. It’s short notice, but they can pull it off and their garden will be a grand slam addition to Tour Day.
I’ve had the pleasure of writing about the Mill Creek Garden Tour for several years and never thought I’d be championing my own garden! But, yes, my husband and I are opening our garden!
After 52 years of marriage, our garden is a collaborative effort. I love, love, love flowers and my husband enjoys keeping our yard maintained. A Perfect combo! Enjoy the stroll through our many ecosystems: a tranquil shade area where the sound of the water feature will have you saying “ahhhh,” a partly sunny riot-of-color summer dining area and a sunny butterfly garden in pinks, purples, reds and whites. And yes, there will be an Artisan in our garden!
Don’t get caught looking—IF you’ve purchased your tickets, go to any garden listed in your Tour Guide, but #3 in Brighton and ask for the Official Insert with the Address, Description and Directions to the pinch-hitting Garden #3 in The Parks. You’ll be glad you did!
We’re hopeful this change will not be a foul ball to your plans on Saturday, June 22. Six Gardens open 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Advance tickets: $15. Day of tour tickets: $20. Artisans too!
Don’t strike out, buy your tickets now! Visit: www.millcreekgardenclub.com for information on the Mill Creek Garden Tour & Artisan Market 2019.
