Kyle Kashuv, a survivor of the Parkland shooting at Stoneman Douglas High School, who is also a gun rights activist; and Jason Rantz, a conservative radio show host, will be discussing gun rights, school safety, and a lack of school security. The event will be held at Jackson High School on Wednesday, February 20th. Doors open at 6:45 pm and the discussion begins at 7:15 pm.
The speakers will also discuss the importance of the second amendment and how it can help make school campuses safer. There will be a question and answer segment for the last hour of the event.
Kashuv, a gun rights activist, advocates school security and safety. He also supports improving background checks for gun sales.
Kashuv is the most important figure in the conservative and gun rights movement, and has provided a platform for reaching young, new audiences. Through Instagram and social media accounts, he has an impressive following of 54.7 thousand followers. He is the current Director of High School Outreach for Turning Point USA.
Rantz hosts The Jason Rantz Show on KTTH 770AM. Through his personal speaking skills, Rantz constant dedication to spreading thought-provoking ideas and political discussions has provided communication for young activists.
