The Mill Creek Family YMCA invites adults of all ages to attend the Healthy Living Fair on Friday, September 13th, from noon to 3:00 pm.
Vendors from around Snohomish County will be there sharing valuable resources and information with attendees. This free event is open to all.
The Mill Creek Family YMCA is located at 13723 Puget Park Drive.
“This free community event hosts over 40 vendors who bring information and services that enhance the lives of adults in our area,” said Terry Huffer, Mill Creek Y’s Active Older Adult Director.
Huffer went on to say, “We love to open our doors to the community and offer a one-stop shop.”
Come and learn about the arts, legal services, grocery delivery, hobbies & interests, health care, and more! CVS Pharmacy will be on-site administering flu shots.
Insurance cards will be required to receive the flu shot.
In addition to gaining education and information, attendees will get to taste delicious bites from local restaurants at “A Taste of Snohomish County.”
Sample food will be available from Cunio’s, Lombardi’s, and Andy’s Fish House.
“My hope is that our community members will invite their neighbors, parents, grandparents, and friends so everyone can benefit from this important event,” said Huffer.
“The key to staying healthy and happy is to equip yourself with information and tools to maintain a high quality of life,” Huffer added.
The Mill Creek Family YMCA serves one of the largest active older adult populations in Snohomish County. Every day more than 125 active older adults enter our doors to get healthy, meet new friends, connect socially, and participate in various workshops, events, trips and other activities.
