H.M. Jackson High School student, Madison Warnke, gets a hands-on opportunity to be a real scientist.
Madison Warnke, senior, was selected to represent King and Snohomish Counties at the Seattle Science Festival Expo Day held on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at the Seattle Center!
Her research titled The Effects of 1/f Noise on the Cognitive Ability of High School Students in an Educational Setting was on display all day at the festival.
This event, which was expected to draw 10,000-20,000 people, is the region's premier large-scale community wide celebration of science and technology that brings hands-on exhibits, shows, demonstrations and performances from throughout the Pacific Northwest.
“We are so proud of our research and engineering students!” said both Kim Griggs and Andy Sevald, Science Research Club, co-advisors.
