By Lt. Rob Palmer, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office South Precinct Commander.

At about 3 pm on Sunday, November 8, 2015, a 35-year-old man was shot when he returned to the apartment he shares with two others, a 24-year-old man and that man’s girlfriend.

The incident occurred at the Bunkhouse Condos located in the 900 block of 130th Street SW in Everett, just northwest of Mill Creek.

The two men became involved in an argument that became a physical fight and at some point the 24-year-old man drew a pistol and shot the other man multiple times.

The female roommate was not injured and is cooperating with investigators.

The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and his current condition is not known.

The shooter surrendered to arriving Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies without incident and is in custody.  The firearm was also recovered.

Major Crimes Unit detectives are conducting the investigation at the scene.

Editor's note: This article has been edited to correct the address of the shooting. The Sheriff's Office press release identified the location as the "900 block of 130th Street SE."

Wrong address in press release?

Bunkhouse condos are at 921 - 130th Street *SW*, not SE, according to Google maps. There is no 900 block on 130th that I see on the east side of I-5. That puts this incident as south of 128th and west of I-5 (just west of the Albertson's shopping center over by Mariner high school.) Still a tragedy, but not "Just north of Mill Creek".

Thanks for the update

Thanks to the editor for correcting the article - original press release from the Sheriff had the wrong address. Site of the shooting is about a mile northwest of Mill Creek.
