The City of Mill Creek will hold an open house and ribbon cutting ceremony at City Hall on Tuesday, April 18, 2017, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The event, themed “Grow with Us,” will include an official dedication of the Mill Creek Municipal Campus following the remodel of City Hall buildings at 15728 Main St. in Mill Creek.
The community is invited to join the mayor, city manager, city council and staff for the dedication ceremony at 4:00 pm. The two-hour event will include tours of City Hall, information about becoming a volunteer police officer, live music, and hands-on activities for families including a “touch a truck” event for kids.
“This is a great opportunity for the community to learn about changes at City Hall and how we’ve grown beyond a single building into a municipal campus,” said Joni Kirk, Director of Communications and Marketing.
“As people tour our departments, they can participate in fun and educational activities that showcase the work of City staff. As they learn, people can get a ‘passport’ stamp in each department and be entered to win some City swag.”
