This year's Free Comic Book Day is bigger and better than ever!
All appearance times are TBA. Stay tuned!
For starters, while supplies last, each visitor may obtain three (3) free comics from the event's selection. For each dollar that you donate to Cocoon House during the event, you may have one additional free comic, up to a total of one of each available. There will be exciting selections for all ages!
Joining us from 3 pm to sign, sketch, and meet fans will be Eric Palicki (writer of Black Mask's No Angel, contributor of the Mine! anthology to benefit Planned Parenthood, and writer of This Nightmare Kills Fascists), Kazu Kibuishi (creator of the acclaimed and beloved Amulet series of young adult graphic novels) will be here from 1-3 pm, and Jennifer Shultz-Evans (prose author of the modern fairy tale Becoming Fae) will be here from 3 pm!
Returning to us from a galaxy far, far away will be Jedi and Sith from Jet City Saber Guild, here to perform lightsaber choreography! Joining them will be more of your favorite characters from across the Star Wars Universe, by way of the 501st Legion's Garrison Titan, Mandalorian Mercenaries' Gurreck Clan, and Rebel Legion's Alpha Base!
While supplies last, we will also have pizza from our friends at Brooklyn Bros. and sweet treats from Frost Donuts!
