On Thursday evening, May 23rd, at 7:00 pm, the Mill Creek Library will offer the first of a series of free dinner workshops for entrepreneurs and business people.
These workshops will all be held at the Mill Creek Arena Sports upstairs conference room.
The More Profit Workshop will be led by George Huang of Freedompreneur, Inc.
Huang will offer concrete techniques to help businesspeople insulate themselves from dips in traffic, remove the mystery from how much they need to earn each month, and generally feel more confident about their financials.
A light dinner will be served with the workshop. It is free.
“Even if you're an ambitious business owner, paying attention to the money side of your business is often the last thing you feel like doing,” said Huang.
He went on to say, “It's common to justify ignoring your business finances by saying things like ‘I'm not a numbers person,’ ‘my accountant takes care of things,’ or ‘I just need better marketing to make more money, and everything else will take of itself.’”
Huang was a surgeon who struggled with the financial side of his practice. He became the business coach and mentor that he wishes he’d had.
The More Profit Workshop will take place in the upstairs conference room of Arena Sports, 13500 Bothell Everett Hwy in Mill Creek.
Space is limited and registration required; please call the Mill Creek Library at 425-337-4822 to reserve your space.
This is the first of a series of Business Pros programs that will be offered on the third Thursday of each month, May-October.
These programs are made possible by the Mill Creek Chamber of Commerce and the Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation. For more information, go to www.sno-isle.org/events.
