On August 4th, 2018, the Northshore Senior Center will be hosting the 3rd Annual Kaiser Permanente Bothell 5K Capes for Courage Run/Walk (formerly the Wranglers 5K), benefiting the Wrangler Inclusion Program.
All community members are invited to join us for this fun community event, welcome to walkers and runners of all abilities. A 1-mile option will be available in addition to the 5k run/walk.
Show your superhero style as you coast through this easy and level course along the banks of the Sammamish River in downtown Bothell. Chip timing will be used. All registered participants receive a complementary race t-shirt.
- WHEN: The August 4, 2018, race starts at 9:00 am.
- WHERE: Raceers start at the Northshore Adult Day Health Center, 10212 E. Riverside Drive, Bothell, WA.
- REGISTRATION: A registration fee of $30 can be paid online by clicking here.
Thanks to a generous donor, the first $5,000 in donations made to the event (apart from registration fees) will be matched. Donations are accepted on the race website.
All proceeds from the race will directly benefit the Northshore Senior Center’s Wrangler Inclusion Program.
Promoting “fun for all,” the Northshore Wranglers Inclusion Program provides inclusion, fun and friendship for individuals of all ages and abilities through year-round inclusion, recreation, skills and socialization opportunities, as well as advocacy and family support. Founded in 1998 and serving Bothell, Woodinville, Kenmore, and other surrounding communities, programming is a non-profit service of the Health and Wellness Department of the Northshore Senior Center.
