Bravo!  To once again support the YWCA Pathways Children’s Domestic Violence Program, Mill Creek Women’s Club will present their most important fundraiser of the year on November 19th at the Mill Creek Country Club.

The annual auction, “THANKS FOR GIVING,” will donate 100% of the monies raised to help break the cycle of domestic violence by contributing funds for counseling children from abusive environments.

Thank you to all the businesses and vendors who have donated goods and services!  Thanks to amazing Co-chairs, Victoria Wellman and Cynthia Diederich!

From 2009 through 2013, the Women’s Club auction has raised and donated $90,337.00.  Let’s see how much we add to that awesome total this year!  We can help make a difference.

The warm and wonderful holiday season is upon us.  What better way to celebrate than with joyous music?  The highly acclaimed Jackson High School Jazz Band, under the direction of Lesley Moffat, will perform Christmas favorites at the December Luncheon Program.

Magical elves will deliver candy canes.  Maybe a fun sing-along?  Favorite books will be traded at the Book Exchange.

Molbak’s in Woodinville is an enchanting holiday destination with décor galore!  A workshop for designing and planting indoor seasonal themed containers will be December 10th and includes a delicious brunch in their Garden Café.

A cold winter evening warms up January 7th when the University Book Store offers us cozy Fireside Reads.  Then off to the Rusty Pelican providing relaxing wines with yummy appetizers and fabulous desserts.

Depicting the life of Robert Burns as presented by Dave Cunningham, and also an Irish Dance Performance will be January’s Luncheon Program.

Feel good making a small difference while making new friends.  If you live in the Greater Mill Creek Area, look at the website: or call Membership Chair Sue Ramsey at 425-385-2016.

Annual dues are $35.  A reservation is required for Luncheon/General Membership Meetings held the third Wednesday of the month, September through May.  $28 for members, $30 for guests.

Beginning at 10:30 am for socializing and 11:00 am for a brief business meeting, an engaging program and delectable lunch follow, all at the lovely Mill Creek Country Club.

Think about starting something new for the New Year!
