A free class titled "Business Pros: Protect Your Business’ Intellectual Property," will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 10th, at Arena Sports, 13500 Bothell-Everett Highway in Mill Creek. Attorney J.D. Houvener will show how businesses and entrepreneurs can protect their intellectual property.
It is one of a series of programs for small businesses presented by the Mill Creek Library, in partnership with the Mill Creek Business Association.
All businesses have valuable intellectual property assets, but they may not realize it, according to Houvener.
A patent attorney with a background in aerospace and industrial engineering, Houvener is passionate about helping inventors, creators, artists, and businesspeople with securing and protecting their innovations, and helping them think about monetizing those innovations. Protecting intellectual property can be essential to a business’ ability to grow and remain profitable.
Food and drink will be served at the class. To register for this free program, please go to https://sno-isle.libnet.info/event/750194 and click “Register;” or call the Mill Creek Library at 425-337-4822.
