The Reserve at Town Center Apartments will begin site clearing and grading for the third and last phase of their Mill Creek complex this week.
Phase III consists of 95 multifamily residential units in five buildings on the 3.36 acre former Halo Mobile Home Park site. Twelve of the residential units will be live/work townhomes with office/retail space on the first floor adjacent to Main Street and residential living space on the second floor.
Amenities include a common area courtyard with swimming pool, pool deck, lawn and play area.
A 35-foot wide roadway buffer will be provided along the Bothell-Everett Highway and will include a meandering path, benches and community garden plots for the use of the future residents of the project.
As part of the project the Reserve at Town Center Apartments is required to widen Main Street and construct typical improvements along the project frontage. This work will include installation of signage, striping, drainage facilities, and vertical curb and gutter, constructing a new five-foot wide planter strip on the west side, two 14-foot wide travel lanes, and constructing new angled on-street parking, street lighting and an eight-foot wide sidewalk on the east side. The existing streetlights on the west side of Main Street will also be relocated to the new planter strip area.
The final design for the project will be reviewed at the September 20th Mill Creek Design Review Board meeting.
