Snohomish County Fire District 7 Sirens - July 23rd to July 29th

Snohomish County Fire District 7 responded to 252 calls from July 23rd to July 29th, 2018, with 42 of the calls being in Mill Creek.

July 27

At 1:18 p.m. firefighters were dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle fire at the 16400 block of SR9. Battalion 71 arrived and found a fully involved landscaping truck. No injuries were reported. The Snohomish County Fire Marshal responded to investigate the cause of the fire. 

July 28

At 5:14 p.m. crews were dispatched to a report of a motor vehicle fire at the intersection of 45th Avenue SE and 226th Place SE. The driver of the vehicle reported he noticed smoke coming from under the hood while he was driving. When he pulled over to investigate he saw flames. Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported.

July 29

Fire District 7 was dispatched at 9:54 p.m. to a report of a structure fire at the 7600 block of 156th Street SE. Firefighters arrived and found a well involved fire in the gazebo that was located in the backyard about 40 feet from the home. Both engine 77 and engine 71’s crews worked to extinguish the fire in the gazebo and the adjacent dry bushes and trees. They were successful in protecting the home, as there was no fire extension to the residence.  No injuries were reported. The Snohomish County Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
