Snohomish County Fire District 7 responded to 534 calls from July 5th to August 1st, 2016, of which 146 were in the City of Mill Creek as follows:
- Fire Related: 15
- Medical Aid: 350
- Motor Vehicle Collisions: 33
- Service Calls: 136
- Total = 534
At 4:38 p.m. crews responded to a motor vehicle collision at the 13000 block of Elliott Rd. When they arrived on scene they quickly started patient care. One patient was transported to Evergreen - Kirkland by medic unit, and another patient was transported to a local hospital by aid car.
At 1: 47 p.m. crews were dispatched to a report of a motorcyclist down at the intersection of 132nd St SE and Bothell Everett Hwy. When crews arrived they quickly started patient assessment and transported the patient to Providence Hospital by medic unit.
At 8:31 p.m. crews were dispatched to vehicle into a pole at the intersection of Dumas Rd and 132nd St SE. When crews arrived they found a single patient outside of the vehicle. Crews started patient evaluation and treatment. The patient was transported to Providence Hospital by medic unit.
At 12:03 a.m. crews responded to a motorcyclist down at the intersection of 152nd St SE and Hwy 9. When crews arrived they found one patient being assisted by a bystander. Crews started patient assessment and then transported the patient to Providence Hospital by aid unit.
As the weather continues to heat up, more people are visiting local rivers and lakes to cool down. Fire District 7 wants to remind citizens of the dangers below the surface of the water. Always remember to wear a properly fitted life jacket and have a swimming buddy.
