Tim Yates is the City’s new Youth Basketball Coordinator for the City of Mill Creek.

This is Tim’s first position with the City of Mill Creek, but he has been working in Parks and Recreation off and on for the past nine years.

Tim came to the City of Mill Creek from the City of Everett where he directed the Jetty Island Days Program, which serves 38,000 community members annually.

He grew up in Snohomish graduating from Archbishop Murphy High School, and moving on to Gonzaga University where he received a Bachelors in Communications and Sociology in 2013.

In his free time, Tim likes hiking in the woods, being on the water fishing, or on his balcony relaxing and reading while taking in his view of Seattle.

He has a passion for athletics, and giving every child the chance to excel in any sport.

Tim is excited to join the City of Mill Creek staff and to work on bringing the community together through recreation and events.

The city welcomes Tim and wishes him great success in this new position!
