Submitted by on
Removal of a dying tree will cause intermittent southbound lane closures on Bothell-Everett Highway (SR 527) between 145th Street SE and 146th Street SE on Wednesday, June 21st, Thursday June 22nd, and on Friday, June 23rd, 2017.

From a City of Mill Creek news release.

Removal of a dying tree will cause intermittent southbound lane closures on Bothell-Everett Highway (SR 527) between 145th Street SE and 146th Street SE on Wednesday, June 21st, and Thursday June 22nd, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and on Friday, June 23rd, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

The tree to be removed is located near the entrance of the Hawthorne Apartments at the intersection of 146th Street SE and SR 527.

The lanes will be closed intermittently for 10 to 15 minutes at a time to allow heavy branches to fall into the roadway and to allow removal of fallen tree limbs and branches from the road.

The City granted a permit for the dying tree’s removal, as it poses a safety threat to those using the roadway.
