By Lila Johnson, Mill Creek Garden Club Publicity Chair.
Mill Creek Garden Club is disappointed to announce the cancellation of our Mill Creek Garden Tour & Artisan Market 2020 scheduled for June 27th. We read the reports on the Corona Virus, listened to our garden owners, checked with our volunteers and we just could not chance putting our community at risk. We are happy to report the garden owners and artisans have said they would like to come back in 2021.
We offer sincere thanks to our six garden owners who so graciously offered to open their inspiring gardens:
- Paula and Tom Astrof
- Lori and Joe DaSilva
- Katie and Monte Kintner
- Tawni and James Latter
- Mary and Mike Nichols
- Sharon and Jim Ware
You’ve got a date to be on our tour next year!

To our ticket-buying supporters, we are truly disappointed you won’t have the opportunity to stroll through six beautiful gardens or enjoy the artistry of nine talented artisans, but we hope you’ll understand our decision during these uncertain times.
Gardening is not cancelled; whether you’re a beginner or more experienced, discover what a stress reliever cleaning up your yard and pulling weeds can be. And remember, we’ll be back in 2021 and we hope you will too.
