Washington State Patrol detectives seek witnesses to fatal semi-truck collision on southbound I-5 in Everett

Washington State Patrol detectives are seeking information on a five-vehicle, one semi-truck accident that occurred on southbound I-5 at the Snohomish River Bridge on Sunday evening, November 12, 2017.

The Washington State Patrol's Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is investigating a five-vehicle, one semi-truck fatality collision that occurred at approximately 11:40 pm on Sunday evening, November 12, 2017.

A disabled vehicle was first reported on southbound I-5 on the outside shoulder over the Snohomish River Bridge (milepost 195), which was then followed by reports of a three-car collision.

Shortly after the first collision occurred a second collision occurred involving the vehicles in the first collision and the semi-truck.

The driver in one of the passenger vehicles, an Everett woman, was fatally injured.

Major Accident Investigation Team detectives are examining all aspects that led to this collision and are seeking additional witnesses that may have information surrounding this tragic collision.
