Westbound lanes of 132nd Street SE shut down after pedestrian hit by car

Mill Creek Police responded early Saturday morning, June 10th, to a car-pedestrian collision on 132nd Street SE just west of 35th Avenue SE that temporarily shut down all westbound lanes of traffic.

Mill Creek Police responded early Saturday morning, June 10th, to a car-pedestrian collision on 132nd Street SE just west of 35th Avenue SE that temporarily shut down all westbound lanes of traffic.

At approximately 4:33 am on Saturday, June 10, 2017, a 19-year-old male suspected of drug use jumped in front of a Subaru Forester. He sustained serious leg and face injuries and was transported by ambulance to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The driver was shaken up, but uninjured. 

Police are still investigating the circumstances surrounding this situation.

The roadway was cleared and reopened within an hour.
