Oil Pulling – Truth or Hype?

Oil pulling is an Ayurvedic practice of detoxifying and maintaining oral health. The oil acts like a cleanser and pulls harmful bacteria, fungus, and other organism out of your teeth, gums and throat.

What’s with oil pulling? Have you heard about it? It seems to be getting a lot of press these days, and I have been getting loads of questions about it.

I have read some of the same articles and blogs that you have, and to be honest, although oil pulling is part of my daily morning routine I don’t agree with everything I have read.

Left Coast/Right Coast: Time (or lack thereof)

Last week I wrote about travelling to a distant galaxy to meet up with aliens who sent us plans for a “space travel” machine so we could go and meet them and start down that long path to true “discovery” (about why are we here).

Well, I’d like to look into that a bit more. As 99.99% of those reading this have no interest in Albert Einstein and his general theory of relativity (although we all know his famous equation: E=mc²), suffice it to say that when you travel really fast, say 9/10ths the speed of light a couple of interesting things happen.

Changing of the Guard(en) by the Whistling Gardener

September is the time to change garden containers and put a close to the summer season and welcome in the fall season.

As I mentioned earlier this month, September often finds me conflicted as to what to change in my garden and what to nurse along for another month. But as good as some of my containers still look I find that in reality I am sick and tired of them and ready for a change whether they are or not. I need to put a close to the summer season and welcome in the fall season.
