“The Bothell/Mill Creek Sea Hawkers Booster Club continues to build not only in the in Bothell-Kenmore-Mill Creek locations, but 12s are joining from surrounding areas such as Lake Forest Park, Mountlake Terrace, Edmonds, Lynnwood, and other cities to join the fun and enthusiasm that our members are bringing to its community,” said Chapter President George Ortiz.

Five Jackson High School athletes sign collegiate letters of intent

On Wednesday morning, February 5, 2014, five Jackson High School athletes signed National Letters of Intent to attend college this fall.

On Wednesday morning, February 5, 2014, the following five Jackson High School athletes participated in a ceremony that included National Letters of Intent to attend college this fall:

  • Mary Charleson, Cross Country and Track, Seattle Pacific University (WA)
  • Jessica Rawlins, Cross Country and Track, Seattle Pacific University (WA)
  • Matthew Reinikka, Men's Soccer, Davidson College (NC)
  • Trevante' Robinson, Football, Sierra College (CA)
  • Nicholas White, Football, Dartmouth College (NH)

James Donaldson (Ex Sonic, NBA All Star and owner of the Mill Creek small business; The Donaldson Physical Therapy Clinic) had some very interesting things to say about Dennis Rodman’s recent trip to North Korea in his January 8, 2014, blog and in a subsequent conversation with Chuck Wright.

Based on my long-term friendship with James, a very educated man, I know he is a firm believer in keeping an open mind, listening, and talking with individuals with different views than his. He believes these are the best avenues to achieve change.

Since James has visited North Korea on two separate occasions, his thoughts have more credibility than the majority of other individuals who have commented about Rodman’s trip. Here are some of his thoughts regarding Rodman, the self-defined basketball “ambassador” to North Korea.

Their fundraising helps to equip the varsity, junior varsity and frosh football teams at Jackson High School with the best gear possible.

Tickets must be purchased in advance by September 15, 2013! There will be no “walk-ins.”
