Cascadia College magazine wins national award and is seeking community submissions

Cascadia College’s creative arts magazine “Yours Truly” tied for second place in the 2017 Community College Humanities Association’s literary arts competition.

The competition highlights student work from across the nation and is a unique opportunity for students to explore the publishing and promotion process.

Students in Cascadia College’s Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Practices program hosted the very first Campus Climate Conversation the week of October 24th in Mobius Hall. More than 160 students gathered to discuss climate change and sustainability trends, and suggested mitigations for both the campus and the community.

Five Cascadia Community College students head to China on full scholarships

Five lucky students from Cascadia Community College have been awarded full scholarships to study at Beijing Jiaotong University to take part in a two-week summer intensive.

Five lucky students from Cascadia Community College have been awarded full scholarships to study at Beijing Jiaotong University to take part in a two-week summer intensive. The students will work in teams to develop a web application designed to provide a solution for voice recognition. They depart this week (the week of June 4, 2014).
