Fireworks go on sale in Washington State on June 28th

Fireworks go on sale for the 4th of July festivities in Washington State on Tuesday, June 28, 2016.

Washington State law allows sales of consumer fireworks to begin on June 28th at noon and end on July 5th at 11:00 pm. Fireworks discharge is only allowed on July 4th and 5th.

A number of cities and counties have further restricted or banned the sale and discharge of fireworks. Be sure to check with your local jurisdiction before using fireworks.

The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of South Snohomish County will hold a free kickoff for the annual event at 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 31st, at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel.

Guests will have the opportunity to register a team for the first annual Relay For Life of South Snohomish County event, which will be held on Saturday, June 4th, at 12:00 pm at McCollum Park.

Combined Mill Creek, Edmonds, and Mukilteo Relay for Life coming up

Looking to build upon the momentum Mill Creek, Edmonds, and Mukilteo Relay for Life events have gained the past five years; team recruiting is underway to fundraise for 2015.
