Mill Creek Women’s Club Auction, "Thanks for Giving," is November 19th

The 2014 Mill Creek Women's Club Auction will be on November 19th at the Mill Creek Country Club.

Mill Creek Women’s Club is proud to support the YWCA’s Pathways for Women and again this year 100% of their annual auction proceeds will directly benefit the YWCA Pathways Children’s Domestic Violence program. “Thanks for Giving” will be held Wednesday, November 19th, at the beautiful Mill Creek Country Club.

The public is invited to Daniel James Brown's presentation and book signing of “The Boys in the Boat" at the September meeting of the Mill Creek Women’s Club.

Members of the public are invited to join the Mill Creek Women's Club on Wednesday, September 17th, at Mill Creek Country Club, for a general membership meeting, luncheon and program with guest speaker, Daniel James Brown, author of the wildly popular best-seller, “The Boys in the Boat.”

News and events from Mill Creek Women's Club include: The YWCA Inspire Luncheon was attended by 60 Club members who listened to speaker Cheryl Strayed, author of Best-selling memoir “WILD.”

The YWCA Inspire Luncheon on May 1, 2014, in Everett raised $158,000, well over their goal, and was supported and attended by 60 Mill Creek Women’s Club members who were captivated listening to speaker Cheryl Strayed get personal about her life. Her New York Times Best-selling memoir, “WILD,” is due to release in film in the fall with Reese Witherspoon playing Cheryl and Laura Dern as her mother.

Impressively, at the December 18, 2014, Membership Meeting/Luncheon a record-breaking, gigantic $31,780.00 check was proudly presented to the YWCA representatives attending: Senior Regional Director of Snohomish County, Mary Anne Dillon-Bryant and Regional Community Affairs Coordinator, Luanne Kunz. One hundred percent of the proceeds from the Women’s Club Annual Auction in November were directly contributed to the YWCA Pathways Children’s Domestic Violence Program with no overhead cost deduction.
