The Pacific Northwest District of Kiwanis International working in concert with citizens of Snohomish County is forming a Kiwanis Club of Mill Creek. The aims of the new club are to serve the needs of children in Mill Creek and Snohomish County as well as meeting other needs of the community, develop youth leaders, provide opportunities for leadership, business and social fellowship.
The first pre-organizational meeting will be held in Lynnwood on April 23, 2013, Tuesday, at Volunteers of America, 16300 Motor Place, Lynnwood, WA 98037. The meeting is expected to be held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Citizens, 18 years or over, interested in improving the community and helping meet the needs of children are welcome to attend the meeting and become a Charter Member of the new Kiwanis Club of Mill Creek. The club is expected to be chartered in May. A person, 18 years or over, can sign up for Charter Membership on the Internet at millcreekkiwanis.org.
