We remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our county each year on Memorial Day. Here are some local public places where we can honor those who died while in military service:

Mill Creek:

  • What: The Veterans Memorial in Library Park is a good place for family and friends to gather and pay respects. No official events are planned.
  • Where: Library Park, 15429 Bothell-Everett Highway, Mill Creek, WA 98012
  • When: May 25, 2015, all-day.

Lynnwood:

  • What: American Legion Post 1040 ceremony at Veterans Park near the Lynnwood Library.
  • Where: Veterans Park, 19200 44th Avenue W, Lynnwood, WA 98036
  • When: May 25, 2015, 11 am.

Edmonds:

Mukilteo:

Seattle:

  • What: Museum of Flight Memorial Day Ceremony. This ceremony will feature a performance by the Boeing Employee Concert band and talk by Vietnam Veteran, former POW, and Retired Air Force Major Joseph Crecca. Veterans and active U.S. Military personnel receive free admission to the Museum with identification.
  • Where: Seattle Museum of Flight, 9404 E. Marginal Way S., Seattle
  • When: May 25, 2015, from 10:30 am to 12:20 pm.
