High school boys basketball – Archbishop Murphy 65, Kings 59

The Archbishop Murphy High School boys basketball team defeated Kings High School 65-59 in a 3A Cascade Conference game at Kings High School on Friday, January 18, 2013.

“Five Archbishop Murphy players scored in double figures as the Wildcats earned a huge Cascade Conference road win while dealing King's its first league loss of the season, 65-59,” reports the Everett Herald.

“Zander Clouse, Conner Longoria and Josh Parafina each scored 12 points, with Brad Kwesele adding 11 and Phil Hoban chipping in with 10 to pace a hot-shooting Murphy. The Wildcats shot 21 for 33 from the field (64 percent), which helped overcome 24 turnovers and being outrebounded by seven.”

The Archbishop Murphy High School boys basketball team is now 7-3 in 3A Cascade Conference play and 8-5 overall.

Kings High School’s boys basketball team still leads the 3A Cascade Conference with a 9-1 record. They are 13-4 overall.
