High school girls basketball – Jackson 64, Mount Vernon 29

The Jackson High School girls basketball team defeated Mount Vernon High School 64-29 in a 4A Wesco cross-conference game at Jackson High School on Wednesday, January 16, 2013.

“Jackson raced out to a 22-3 lead after the first quarter and never looked back in a Wesco 4A crossover win,” reports the Everett Herald. “Sierra Anderson had 16 points, five assists and five steals for the Timberwolves.”

The Jackson High School girls basketball team is now 8-2 in 4A Wesco South Conference play and 9-5 overall.

Mount Vernon High School’s girls basketball team is now 1-9 in 4A Wesco North Conference play and 2-13 overall.
