For dog owners and dog lovers alike, Paddywack Pet Store in the Mill Creek Town Center will be hosting their annual Howl-O-Ween “Tricks for Treats” scavenger hunt and party on Sunday, October 28, 2012, from 2:30 PM until 5:00 PM.
This hugely popular event is a "Tricks for Treats" scavenger hunt through Mill Creek Town Center. Registered participants are provided with doggie treat bags and clues to several dog friendly participating merchants with yummy treats for their pooches supplied by Paddywack at each destination. After the hunt there will be a party with fun dog games, a costume contest, a photo booth, and special prize baskets at The Forum in the Town Center.
Paddywack owner Janet Berwick said, “Everyone ends up at 'The Forum' where they will be treated by the Fairy Dogmothers from Pupcakes and engage in fun games like bobbing for dogs (hot dogs of course!), a pie eating contest, and poo tossing by their humans. There will also be a costume contest and photo booth where everyone can get a fun holiday keepsake photo of themselves and their dogs.”
The event is limited to 200 dogs and all dogs must be pre-registered at the store to reserve a spot. There is a nominal fee to participate and 100% of the funds will be donated to a non-profit pet rescue group. Don't miss out on this spooktacular event!
All proceeds from Howl-o-ween this year go to FurKidz 911 Connection, an organization that serves as a resource for animal shelters who are in need of saving a dog from being euthanized or when shelters are overcrowded. The organization is foster-based and has a team of fosters throughout Western Washington. FurKidz is dedicated to the rehabilitation of dogs so they may find their forever home.
