According to Mill Creek Police Department Information Officer Ian Durkee, “Mill Creek Police officers responded to the report of a bomb threat at the Central Market grocery store in the 15600 block of Main Street on Friday, November 17, 2012 at 7:40 PM.”

“A Central Market employee called 911 because they had received a phone call from a person who said there was a bomb inside the store.”

“Officers arrived and assisted with evacuating the store. No injuries were reported during the evacuation.”

“Officers secured the scene and requested additional resources. Two Washington State Patrol bomb canines responded along with two bomb technicians from the Everett Police Department.”

“The bomb teams searched the building, and no devices or suspicious items were located.”

“The building was turned back over to employees around 10:00 PM. Further investigation will be conducted by Mill Creek Police detectives.”
