Mill Creek Police officers make any number of contacts and respond to numerous calls for service every day.

For the week of February 3rd to February 9th, 2016, Mill Creek Police Officers generated or responded to 439 calls.

This week’s police beat contains a brief description of a portion of those calls.

2/3/2016 at 19:25

  • 15400 Block Bothell Everett Hwy.
  • Officers responded to a vehicle theft in the 15400 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy. A woman's vehicle was stolen from the library parking lot.

02/04/2016 at 05:37   

  • 15100 Block 3rd Dr SE.
  • Officers responded to a burglary that occurred near the 15100 block of 3rd Dr SE. The suspect(s) in the case broke into a vehicle in the driveway and used the garage door opener to access the garage. The suspect(s) then stole two bicycles and a set of golf clubs. The property was later recovered and the suspect arrested.

02/04/2016 at 17:28   

  • 15600 Block Main St.
  • A man became enraged at his girlfriend inside Central Market on Main Street causing a disturbance. He was restrained by employees until police arrived. He pushed an employee and was charged with Assault 4th Degree and Disorderly Conduct.

  • 1300 Block 141 St SE.                 
  • A 42-year-old Mill Creek resident was arrested for disorderly conduct after becoming intoxicated, yelling and arguing with his parents and screaming in the street as officers were escorting him away from the residence.

  • 15600 Block Main Street.
  • A Mill Creek officer responded to a theft complaint in the 15600 block of Main Street.  Someone stole a large amount of cash from the safe overnight. Investigation pending.

  • 16500 Block Bothell Everett Hwy.
  • Officers responded to a report of a collision somewhere near Mill Creek Rd and 16th St SE. Officers eventually located the involved parties in a parking lot near the 16300 block of SR527. Officers then learned the three car collision had resulted in a hit and run with available suspect information. A collision report was taken and suspect information passed to detectives for further investigation.

  • 1900 Block Mill Pointe Dr SE.
  • An officer responded to a burglary alarm at 1900 Block of Mill Pointe Drive SE, a townhome in The Pointe neighborhood. Upon arrival, evidence of an attempted burglary was found. The a back door and window had been pried and kicked but no entry was made.

02/05/2016 at 18:13

  • 1200 Block 164th St SW.
  • Officers received a phone call from the victim of a burglary that happened earlier in the week stating that he had found his stolen bike on an online site used to sell things. An officer posed as a buyer and was able to recover the stolen bike. An arrest was made and the 32 year old male was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for trafficking in stolen property

  • 15100 Block 3rd Dr SE.
  • A Mill Creek residence near the 15100 block of 3rd Ave SE was burglarized. Forced entry is presumed to have been made through a second story window by way of a ladder. It is suspected that the burglar(s) brought and took with them the ladder used in the invasion. The investigation is ongoing.

  • 15100 Block 16th Ave SE.
  • The parents of a 13-year-old girl reported their older daughter's boyfriend recorded inappropriate images of the 13 year old on his phone. The boyfriend fled the scene before officers arrived. The case is under investigation.

02/07/2016 at 19:18

  • 13500 Block North Creek Dr.
  • Officers responded to the apartments at 13500 Block of North Creek Drive for a report of domestic violence that occurred an hour prior. A 26 year old Mill Creek woman reported that an ex-boyfriend had assaulted her in front of their child. The man stole the victim's cellular phone and fled the scene in a vehicle.

  • 13800 Block 28th Dr SE.
  • Officers responded to a burglary report in the 13800 block of 28th Dr SE. Unknown suspect(s) forced entry into the home through a rear door while the residents were away from the home for a short time.

02/08/2016 at 19:29

  • 3000 Block 155th St SE.
  • Officers responded to a residential burglary in the 3000 block of 155 St SE. The house was broken into during the day while the occupants were away.

  • 1500 Block 136th St SE.
  • Officers responded to HM Jackson High School for a Threats report. Unknown suspect(s) left a written note in one of the schools bathrooms threatening to cause harm.

  • 1900 Block Mill Pointe Dr SE.
  • A Mill Creek woman reported that someone possibly entered her home, located in the 1900 block of Seattle Hill Road, while she was in the residence. The woman and her neighbor later contacted a male on the front porch who claimed he had seen another unidentified subject leaving the area on foot. Investigation pending.
