Mill Creek Police Beat - May 25th to May 31st

Mill Creek Police officers make any number of contacts and respond to numerous calls for service every day.

For the week of May 25th to May 31st, 2016, Mill Creek Police Officers generated or responded to 229 calls.

This week’s police beat contains a brief description of a portion of those calls.

5/25/16 at 10:53

  • 13500 Block North Creek Drive.
  • A resident at the Heatherwood Apartments reported that her adult daughter had been assaulted by her boyfriend. The assault had occurred in the parking lot several days prior. An investigation is ongoing.

  • 13500 Block North Creek Drive.
  • Officers responded to a report of substance abuse at a local apartment in the 13500 block of North Creek Dr SE.  A 24 year old male and a 20 year old female were trespassed from the property. The 20 year old female was subsequently arrested for a warrant.

  • 16500 Block Bothell Everett Hwy.
  • Officers responded to a collision in the 16500 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy.  A vehicle struck a pedestrian but no one was injured.

  • 15600 Block Main St.
  • Officers responded to a shoplifting incident in the 15600 block of Main Street SE.  A 40 year old female was caught stealing alcohol off the shelf. The female was arrested for a felony warrant and booked into jail.

  • 3500 Block 132nd St. SE.
  • Officers responded to a report of harassment and malicious mischief in the 3500 block of 132 St. SE.  A road rage incident resulted in one man getting out of his vehicle where he punched another vehicle and threatened the driver.

  • 600 Block 164th St. SE.
  • Officers responded to a report of a suspicious circumstance in the 16300 block of Mill Creek Blvd SE.  A 20 year old adult male and 14 year old juvenile male were contacted in the 600 block of 164th Ave. Further investigation proved the juvenile male as a runaway and he was transported back to his mother.

  • 15600 Block Main St.
  • Officers responded to the 15600 block of Main Street for a shoplifter in custody. A 62 year old Everett woman attempted to shoplift a full cart of groceries and was stopped by store Loss Prevention officers. The suspect was found to have an outstanding Theft warrant from Everett PD. Officers transported the female to Snohomish County Jail, but the jail refused to accept her for booking. The suspect was released with a court date for the local theft.

  • 132nd St SE / 35th Ave SE.
  • An officer conducted a traffic stop in the 3500 block of 132nd St SE. A 47 year old female from Everett was arrested for an outstanding reckless driving warrant and possession of suspected methamphetamine.

  • 13700 Block 32nd Dr. SE.
  • An Officer responded to a report of an attempted vehicle theft in the 13700 block of 32nd Dr SE. A male subject was caught on video attempting to steal a vehicle in the driveway. Officers recognized the suspect in the video and charges are pending.

  • 13500 Block North Creek Drive.
  • A resident of apartments in the 13500 block of North Creek Drive reported a neighbor slapped her 9 year old son. The investigation is ongoing.

  • 2100 Block 158th St. SE.
  • An officer responded to a hit and run collision in the 2100 block of 158th St SE. The investigation is ongoing.

  • 3300 Block 132nd St. SE.
  • Officers observed a suspicious vehicle near the 3300 block of 132nd  St SE. Officers discovered one of the subjects who had been observed in the vehicle had a warrant.  The female subject was located hiding in the bathroom of a local grocery store.  During a consent search of the vehicle she was in, officers discovered evidence of drug dealing.

  • 16300 Block Bothell Everett Hwy.
  • Officers responded to a report of a vehicle theft that had just occurred in the 16300 block of SR-527.  A 29 year old Woodinville male stated a female that was riding in his car stole his vehicle when he went into a store.  The vehicle was entered as stolen.

  • 14900 Block 18th Ln. SE.
  • Two men were arrested for prowling a vehicle in Mill Creek.  It was also discovered that they burglarized a home just outside Mill Creek in Snohomish County.  Both men were booked into the Snohomish County jail.

  • 3200 Block Silver Crest Dr.
  • Officers responded to the report of a disturbance in the 3300 block of Silver Crest Drive.  The investigation revealed that a boyfriend and girlfriend were arguing loudly over money.  No assault occurred.
