Mill Creek Police officers make any number of contacts and respond to numerous calls for service every day.

For the week of May 4th to May 10th, 2016, Mill Creek Police Officers generated or responded to 385 calls.

This week’s police beat contains a brief description of a portion of those calls.

5/04/16 at 06:22

  • 15000 Block Main St.
  • Police were called to a vehicle prowl, which occurred in the 15100 block of Main Street. A 21 year old Bothell woman reported her car window was smashed and her purse was stolen while she was inside LA Fitness. The thief had already attempted to use her debit card in Everett.

  • 14700 Block Main St.
  • PSO took a male Cocker Spaniel to PAWS Animal Shelter.

  • 3300 Block 132nd St. SE.
  • A Mill Creek officer responded to a report of a hit and run that had just occurred.  A teenage female was at a local business when a green Ford Ranger pickup struck her vehicle and fled the scene.  Investigation pending.

  • 3300 Block 132nd St. SE.
  • Officers responded to a parking lot collision in the 3300 block of 132nd St. SE. A 40 year old female from Everett backed into a parked police vehicle.

  • 13900 Block 34th Dr. SE.
  • A 30's year old Mill Creek man turned in a firearm to the police for destruction.

  • 13200 Block Bothell-Everett Hwy.
  • Police responded to a cold burglary report at a daycare in the 13200 block of SR-527. Daycare staff arrived in the morning to find the building had been broken into sometime over the weekend. Several items of value were stolen. The case is under investigation.

  • 1300 Block Trillium Blvd. SE.
  • PSO found a bicycle while checking the area at 1300 block of Trillium Blvd.

  • 1500 Block 132nd St. SE.
  • PSO took a report for a wallet, which was found at 1500 block of 132nd St. SE.

5/09/16 at 20:15

  • 13700 Block 41st Ave. SE.
  • A Mill Creek officer was dispatched to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the neighborhood.  Upon contact the officer found one of the individuals involved with the vehicle had a warrant.  This male subject was booked into the Snohomish County Jail.

05/10/16 at 02:20

  • 1600 Block 132nd St. SE.
  • An officer attempted to perform a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 1600 block of 132nd St SW. The vehicle registration was invalid and suspected to be stolen. The vehicle fled after being signaled to stop by emergency lights and siren and proceeded to elude police contact.  The pursuit was terminated quickly after the vehicle began to drive in an unsafe manner.

  • 13200 Block Bothell-Everett Hwy.
  • An Everett man's truck was broken into overnight after he dropped it off for repair in the 13200 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy.

  • 15728 Main St.
  • A 40 year old Bothell male reported a lost jump drive. The reporting party stated that he left his jump drive at the Mill Creek Library last month (April) before he traveled abroad. Upon returning a month later, he discovered that no one had turned it in to the Library lost and found.

  • 2000 Block 132nd St. SE.
  • Officers responded to the 2000 block of 132 St. SE for a Theft complaint of a power tool. The unknown suspect was captured on video and the case is under investigation.
