Mill Creek Police Beat: October 12th to 18th

Mill Creek Police officers make any number of contacts and respond to numerous calls for service every day.

This week’s police beat contains a brief description of a portion of those calls for the week of October 12th to October 18th, 2016.

  • 16300 Block Bothell-Everett Hwy.
  • A 52 year old male was arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail for Criminal Trespassing and Resisting Arrest in the 16300 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy.

  • 15728 Main St.
  • A Mill Creek juvenile reported that her bike was stolen from the 1400 block of Trillium Blvd.

  • 2000 Block 132nd St SE.
  • Mill Creek Police responded to a theft report near the 2000 block of 132nd Street SE. A subsequent investigation led to the identification of a suspect and the referral of theft related charges.

  • 13900 Block North Creek Dr.
  • Officers contacted a suspicious vehicle and arrested both subjects on warrants.  A small amount of heroin was recovered during a search of the vehicle.  The male was accepted for booking at the county jail, but the female was not as there were concerns from the jail staff that she would suffer heroin withdrawals while in custody.

  • 13200 Block Dumas Rd.
  • A 20 year old Bothell male was traveling northbound in the 13200 block of Dumas Rd and was stopped for an expired registration.  The male was subsequently cited and released for Driving While License Suspended 3rd Degree and Possession of Marijuana, less than 40 grams.

  • 13500 Block North Creek Dr.
  • Two roommates, a 36 year old male and female who had previously dated, were arguing about property and sleeping arrangements in the 13500 block of North Creek Dr.  No assault occurred.

  • 900 Block 164th St SE.
  • An Officer interrupted a theft in progress in the 900 block of 164th St SE. A 46 year old male from Everett returned the items and was arrested for an outstanding warrant. The arrestee was booked into the Snohomish County Jail.

  • 13500 Block North Creek Dr.
  • Officers responded to a domestic violence incident in which the suspect kicked in the front door of the residence during a heated argument.  The suspect fled the apartment before officers arrived, but with the assistance of the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office, he was apprehended at his residence in North Lake Stevens.  The subject was booked at the Snohomish County Jail.

  • 500 Block 128th St SW.
  • An officer contacted a wanted subject in the 500 block of 128th St SW. A 49 year old male from Lynnwood was arrested on an outstanding warrant. After a consent search of the vehicle, narcotics were located. The subject was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for Violation of the Uniform Controlled Substances Act.

  • 16300 Block Bothell-Everett Hwy.
  • Officers responded to a theft in progress in the 16300 block of SR527. A male was detained during an investigation into the theft. Probable cause was developed for the theft of over $500 worth of merchandise. The male was then arrested and booked into Lynnwood Jail.

  • 3300 Block 132nd St SE.
  • A Mill Creek officer responded to the report of theft in the 3300 block of 132nd St SE where an unknown male reportedly took money from a local business. Suspect information was provided to the police department.

  • 16200 Block Bothell-Everett Hwy.
  • A Mill Creek officer responded to a hit and run that occurred in the 16200 block of Bothell-Everett Hwy.

  • 14400 Block North Creek Dr.
  • Police responded to a cold burglary report near the 14400 block of North Creek Drive. Several tools and a golf cart were reported stolen.
