Mill Creek Parks & Recreation Youth Basketball League sign-ups have begun and teams are being formed for the 2013-2014 season.
Register by October 25, 2013, to avoid a $20 late registration fee!
Last year’s season was a great success with over 700 players competing on teams ranging from kindergarten through ninth grade (both girls and boys). This year the City anticipates as many players returning if not more.
Practices will begin in December and end the first week of March. Practice will take place once or twice per week based on grade level and gym availability.
There will be an eight-game season for first to ninth grade teams played during the day on Saturdays, beginning in January 2014.
Kindergarten teams will play a five-game season beginning at the end of January.
Youth recreational sport programs offer a positive environment in which self-esteem grows and blossoms. The Mill Creek Parks and Recreation Department is committed to offering quality programs at an affordable price.
The 2013-2014 registration fees are as follows (add $20 after October 25th):
Kindergarten (Co-ed teams)
- Mill Creek resident - $112
- Non-resident - $129
First to ninth grades (girls teams and boys teams)
- Mill Creek resident - $114
- Non-resident - $131
There will be a family discount for three or more siblings.

WANTED! Basketball Referees
Mill Creek Parks and Recreation hires officials for the Youth Basketball Program. This is an excellent part-time employment opportunity for high school and college students age 14 and up. Referees are needed for Saturday games January through March 2014. Referee training is provided in December 2013. This is a great way to earn money while you learn and have fun!
