Snohomish County Tomorrow selects Mill Creek’s Terry Ryan as co-chairman

The Everett Herald reported that Snohomish County Tomorrow, a group that coordinates planning efforts among the county, its cities and the Tulalip Tribes, has selected new officers for the year.

Mill Creek Councilman Terry Ryan and County Council Chairman Brian Sullivan have been chosen as co-chairman for the group. Chosen as vice chairpersons are Marysville Mayor Jon Nehring and County Councilwoman Stephanie Wright.

Snohomish County Tomorrow is a cooperative and collaborative public inter-jurisdictional forum consisting of representatives from the county and each of the cities as well as from the Tulalip Tribes.

Snohomish County Tomorrow's mission is to adopt a publicly shared vision, including goals and policies, to guide effective growth management and to preserve Snohomish County's unique quality of life.

Snohomish County Tomorrow's primary function is to oversee the Countywide Planning Policies, which are written policies used solely for the purpose of establishing a countywide framework from which the county and city's comprehensive plans are developed.
