The Mill Creek City Council plans to conduct a special meeting at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, January 18th.
This public meeting will be made available for a limited few residents in person in city council chambers and via a virtual Zoom conference.
According to their preliminary agenda they will begin the meeting with a closed executive session to discuss potential litigation.
Immediately after the closed session they want to discuss the search for a new city manager, and Mill Creek’s potential annexation into the South County Fire & Rescue Regional Fire District.
They also intend to approve a collective bargaining agreement with the city’s employee union and the settlement agreement of former Communications Director Joni Kirk’s lawsuit against the city.
Regular meetings of the Mill Creek City Council are normally held on the first, second, and fourth Tuesdays of each month commencing at 6:00 pm.
Public participation and interest in these meetings is encouraged and very much appreciated.
The public may present comments to the city council in writing prior to the meeting or via the Zoom interface during the meeting.
