Mill Creek Library renovation listed in new Sno-Isle Libraries 10-year plan

Local residents could be getting a renovated library within the City of Mill Creek, a demonstration library project in the 128th Street/Mariner High School area, and another brand-new facility southeast of Mill Creek according to a plan unanimously approved by Sno-Isle Libraries Board of Trustees at the regularly scheduled July 25th meeting.

Divers with the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office recovered human remains found in a vehicle underwater near the Mukilteo ferry dock on Friday, July 22nd.

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner has identified those remains as belonging to 20 year-old Jose Sanchez Diaz, who went missing last August. Cause and manner of death are pending from the ME’s Office.

The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of South Snohomish County will hold a free kickoff for the annual event at 6:00 pm on Thursday, March 31st, at the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel.

Guests will have the opportunity to register a team for the first annual Relay For Life of South Snohomish County event, which will be held on Saturday, June 4th, at 12:00 pm at McCollum Park.

Sheriff’s detectives release composite sketch of Lynnwood “carjacking” suspect

The suspect is a white male in his late 20’s-early 30’s about 5’5” with no facial hair

Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office detectives have released a composite sketch of the man suspected of pulling a woman from her car on Wednesday morning, March 4th, at the 17500 block of 17th Avenue W and driving off.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office Anonymous Tip Line at 425-388-3845.
